Jill will be returning to work from maternity leave in January. She will be working in Amber Arts on Tuesdays and Wednesday and in addition teaching some Saturdays and Mondays. (see classes)

The Amber Arts team is growing...

We are very lucky to be able to introduce 2 new staff members:

Emma Spencer has recently moved here from Brighton, where she had learnt the basics in framing. She works part time with us and offers Ayesha vital support in framing. Emma also works in the National Galleries of Scotland. She has a Degree in Art History from Essex University and is currently studying a part time Masters in Biblical Interpretation.

Jill's mum Winifred Hodge has just moved up to Edinburgh from Yorkshire where she has been painting and teaching for the last 20 years. Her experience as a successful artist is invaluable to us in the Gallery. She also helps out with the framing and customer service. We are lucky to be able to utilise her teaching experience as she supports Jill in her printmaking classes and she is also responsible for the upkeep of the studio.

We are incredibly grateful to have both Emma and Winifred with us and we hope you enjoy meeting them soon.
