Facilities
The printmaking workshop is a small private space with the workshop facilitating all fine art printmaking processes apart from lithography. These include:
- Monotype
- Relief - Lino & Wood cut
- Collagraph
- Intaglio - drypoint, engraving, acrylic based etching (softground, hardground, wash ground, aquatint) and photopolymer printmaking.
- Screenprinting – waterbased inks
(autographic, digital, handcut stencils, screen painting fluids, filler and paper stencils).
The studio boasts:
- Bewick & Wilson electric powered, bed size 76cm x 150cm.
- Natgraph vacuum screenbed, bed size 110cm x 156cm.
- Natgraph horizontal contained exposure unit, size 135cm x 138cm
- Backlight screen developing and wash out booth.
- Screen drying cabinet.
- Aquatint unit.
- Ferric chloride dip tanks.
- Plate stripping tank.
- Screen drying rack.
- Paper soaking bench, blotting area and paper drying stacks.
- Inking up benches.
- A wide range of Lascaux screenprinting acrylics & touches.
- A large stock of fine art printmaking papers available to purchase.
