Due to space limitations in the workshop, all classes are small and have a maximum of 5 people per class. This enables a more personal approach and allows individual tuition. Amber Arts will be running a variety of classes catering to all artistic levels:

Please visit our ‘special offers’ page for details on how to save money when booking a course.

A 50% deposit is taken when booking.

The classes must have a minimum of 3 people in order to run and your deposit will be paid back in full if the course doesn’t go ahead.

If the advertised dates are unsuitable for you, and you are able to persuade a few friends to join you on the course, Jill will be happy to schedule a suitable date for you.

BEGINNERS CLASSES

These one-day ‘taster’ classes are designed for newcomers to the printmaking medium. We aim to give you a relaxed, informal and enjoyable introduction to the various printmaking processes.

The classes start with briefly discussing the process, showing sample prints and giving demonstrations. Then everybody will get the chance to be creative and make their own plates before lunch and print them in the afternoon. All materials are provided.

The classes run from 10am – 5pm, with an hours break at lunchtime. Homemade lunch is included in the cost.
